The estate was established in 1526 and was owned by von Helle family. In eighteenth century it belonged to Polish families Ciesielskich and Salzwedell-Więckowskich. The whole property consisted of 625 acres of land with distillery and sawmill. Until now, there are the remnants of old park and farmyard buildings there.
