Kościół w Grabniku

Kościół w Grabniku

The  historic wooden church, which has witnessed many historical events is located in small village Grabnik near Stare Juchy. It was built in the years 1565-1566.  It survived the attack of Tatars in seventeenth century, when the whole village was burned. During world war I, it was robbed of two impressive bells by German troops. Today the church impresses with its unique architecture, and still features original eighteenth century organs, designed by Christoph Ungefunga Jahannam.
