Water sports - For the lovers of water sports Mazury Garbate is a dream area. You can enjoy sailing on the largest expanses of water such as Selmet or Łaśmiady Great lake. In addition,  specific connection of lakes and rivers, surrounded by a wealth of vegetation and flowing through scenic areas, encourage to try canoeing here. Local organizers present variety of proposals for longer and shorter routes on Masurian rivers.

Hot-air ballooning or paragliding - City of Elk can  be admired from the deck of a balloon. Every year there are events organized here, which allow tourists to try such fun. In addition, one of the tourist farm owners teaches paragliding. This is a unique opportunity to take panorama shots of the city and surrounding areas.

Ski Sports - A great place for active recreation for skiers is Piękna Góra in Gołdap. There is the largest in the Warmia-Mazury winter sports resort. Four types of routes and a few kilometers of ski slopes are a treat for ski lovers. Routes are professionally lit and if necessary, additionally covered with artificial snow.
