International Screaming Competition (August)
Screaming Contest in Gołdap is the only one in Europe. The other one takes place in Tokyo. Competition is in two categories, for women and men, the winner is the one who will shout the loudest.
Gołdap Cross is very popular among joggers and fans of outdoor activities. This is one of the larger races in the north-eastern Poland.
Marathon in Gołdap attracts more and more participants every year. It’s very well organised and lead runners trough some beautiful scenery.
Bread Festival (September)
The event is in Kozaki village. During the festival, various shows and competition take place.
